Wish I had a similar experience as the rest of the patients but unfortunately I didnt. To start, at my first visit, I only had a copy of the front of my insurance card not the back and the receptionist could not verify my coverage. I tired my best to find the back info and remembered my PCP had it from my recent annual visit so I called the office and asked if they could provide the info the guy needed. They talk and decide I wasnt covered which I didnt believe because I checked before but omega wouldnt see me without paying the full fee so fine. My fault for not having my card. When I leave I call insurance myself and tell them what just happened and they tell me I am covered (why didnt ole boy call insurance himself to verify my benefits) so I call omega back and the guy refunds me. Fast forward. I was prescribed meds but needed a pre-authorization form filled out by Dr. Fredericks to be sent over to my insurance. Its been 6 weeks and nothing. I call the pharmacy every couple days asking if theres been movement and nope. I call omega center weekly and most of the time no one answers the phone or responds to emails. The times I get through I speak with Dr Fredericks, he tells me hell do whatever is necessary or says hell look into it but again, its been 6 weeks and the pharmacy still says they need him to complete the paperwork. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt so I called my insurance and they confirmed they needed info from him but they still havent received it. My advice. Make sure your covered through medical and pharmacy before making an appointment with this provider. Before going, id suggest you do some due diligence to see what your insurance and perscripti

I started working with Dr. Fredericks to address the weight I had gained during the pandemic. My before picture was from 11/8/2021. I happened to take a photo 11/7/2022 not realizing a year had passed since I'd been working with Dr. Fredericks. Imagine my suprise to see the pictures side-by-side and to see my progress. Dr. Fredericks is such a great doctor. He's patient and he is a careful listener. He also provides lots of information and helps educate you about weight, weight gain and weightloss. Dr. Fredericks was able to help me achieve my goal without me stressing or being overly concerned about the process. I felt like the weight disappeared as easily as I had gained it. The best part is Dr. Fredericks' ability to monitor exactly what weight you're losing (fat, muscle, etc). In my case I've lost a considerable amount of visceral fat. My midsection got smaller without losing too much from my face or my chest. I'll update this post with my progress.
