Oliveira's did great work on our bathroom. He consulted with us on each step of the project. The bathroom was completed ahead of schedule. The quality of workmanship was excellent. A very positive 5 stars.

Let me preface this review by saying that I am on the tail end of a down to studs reno of my home where I have done all the work myself except this. Not an expert by any means, just a home owner who is not ignorant about construction. Would not recommend, they are weekend warrior homeowner level at best. Low skill and questionable professionalism with sloppy work and zero consideration for your home. Prepping for the work was dropping a dusty drop cloth in the hallway by the entry door. This is not an abandoned house, sealing off the live in area is crucial to avoid everything covered in that fine, white dust from sheetrock and tile work. They applied the Redgard membrane on the cement board leaving a dozen plus rather large areas untouched, never mind the tiny little pin holes because it wasnt worked into the nooks and crannies. This is a waterproofing membrane and therefore must be continuous for it to work. Whether you need it or not is debatable, however, if you use it, apply it correctly. Every single cut tile was hand cut with a grinder producing ragged, chipped edges. The gaps in the inside corners around the tub and the gap between the tub and tile ranged from touching to just over a . Floor tiles, cement board and thinset touching the acrylic tub producing serious squeaks in front of the tub. They grouted the wall tiles including the inside corners and between the tub and tiles. Sol had a hard time understanding why that is bad idea 4.5 marble threshold was installed 3/8 outside the 4.5door jambs which left a very sizeable gap once removed and reinstalled correctly. Sol refused to pull up floor tiles to correct. Next week(about 4 days after grouting) I was cleaning the grout haze off the tiles and I noticed I was able to rub the grout out of the joints with my towel. Talking to the manufacturer and based on my own research this is most likely an installation issue by not wetting the joints between ceramic tiles when grouting to prevent sucking the moisture out too fast. BTW, the grout ranged from 1/8 to over 3/8 because it wasnt smoothed out correctly. Lots of grout on the tile out of the joint. One of the recessed lights in the living room was missing insulation around it and they installed the sheetrock without saying a word if I wanted to fill it in as it was clearly a mistake due to all other lights being fully insulated. Per our contract I had to make partial payments based on milestones and for all 3 payments I have made, had to chase after him repeatedly for a receipt for the cash(!) payment he demanded. After the third time I stopped work and here we are. The best part of this experience? Finding their pee bottles inside my house in the garbage bag I had to remove debris from so it can be moved. They dumped thinset and tiles into it.
