Our very first encounter with ChrisWe were looking for a particular loan that only a few banks could do. We made a couple of calls to loan officers at Northpointe Bank at 8pm on a Saturday night. We left a few voicemails and hoped someone would get back to us on Monday, low and behold we received a call back at 8:15 that same night from a loan officer, Chris Hensworth. Right from the start we were so impressed by Chriss professional commitment and quick response to our voicemail. Chris is an amazing wealth of knowledge and experience for anybody looking to finance a home purchase, and especially for first time buyers like us! The pre-approval process with Northpointe was quick and straightforward, Chris worked diligently with us in projecting our monthly mortgage costs so we could stay within our budget, and the entire closing process was seamless and timely. I have worked with Chris on multiple transactions, both as a buyer and a seller. If I'm even thinking about anything real estate related, Chris is my first call. Actually, even if it's not real estate related, I've often reached out to Chris. He just gives really great advice and is a fantastic human being. One of the things I appreciate most about Chris is that he explains things in ways that are easy to understand. In my earlier transactions, I still had so much to learn. As I grew more knowledgeable with each transaction, Chris was still able to help me understand some of the really nuanced parts of the process. I felt so much more confident in decisions I needed to make because I had a deep understanding of all possible scenarios. Lastly, buying and/or selling a home is stressful most of the time. Chris has talked me off of multiple ledges. He always answers the phone with joy in his voice. There are plenty of people out there who seem to live to make real estate an awful industry.
