Cannot say enough good things about Elegance Nails! Staff is always so accommodating, friendly, and they do an amazing job.

I passed by this nail shop every day to work. I was interested, but I am not a from around Scotch Plains so I didnt know if it was good or not. My coworker actually started going here and she said she loved how they work so I came this Saturday and let me tell you. That this has been one of the best nail sets Ive ever gotten I absolutely loved it and will be coming back.

Ive had a couple of unsatisfactory experiences here in regard to waiting over 40 minutes when I had an appointment scheduled. My last experience prompted this review. I asked for a simple regular manicure (no gel, no acrylic). The manicurist treated my cuticles first and then proceeded straight to painting my nails. Normally theres some lotion and a little hand massage before the polish but I thought maybe they do it differently there. When she was done polishing, she told me to go to the hand dryer and said her goodbyes. I asked her why no lotion or hand massage? So she came back with a dab of lotion and spread it over my hand (not my fingers) and that was it. When I went to pay, I asked someone else if it was normal not to have lotion and massage with a manicure. When the manicurist heard me ask that she came right over and flat out lied that she did lotion/massage. I looked at her point blank and asked if she simply forgot (which would have been fine, everyone makes mistakes), but she refused to admit she messed up. I received $2 back from the salon for the experience. Had she simply been honest, I would have been fine with it. But her dishonesty cost her a tip and the salon will no longer get my business. Oh and the polish started chipping badly after two days.

Extremely clean. Mani/Pedi was done well. The messages however could definitely be improved. Otherwise great experience, I will return again.
