A letter to my Former employer: KW Transportation and Logistics, Due to the inexcusable lack of communication and effort on behalf of KW Transportation, three team members in Mobile, Alabama have been without work since September 25th. As you may well know, Alabama is an At-will state. 10 days without work, communication, or direction constitutes a termination of employment. In my adult life, I have never seen such a serious lack of work ethic. These actions on behalf of KWTransportation, (or lack thereof) were entirely unprofessional. You need to seriously look inside yourselves and fix whatever is broken because if you continue to treat people the way you treated these men in Mobile, you undoubtedly will face a class action lawsuit on behalf of all the people you screwed over. Consider this: if any of us had disappeared for 11 days with no communication, and no information as to when we would return to work, we would have been labeled "NCNS" and terminated without notice. You acted like an employee who has no regard for their position, you promised full time hours and then failed to deliver. Several of us quit full time jobs without notice to work for you, and you left us unemployed after three days of service. You ignored all of us when we reached out to you. You further ignored the people assigned to lead our team. If the roles where reversed, that would have been highly unacceptable. So I am not resigning my employment, I'm terminating you as an employer. If you see a job posting from KW Logistics and Transportation, DO NOT APPLY. They will promise you a full time job making $150 a day delivering packages for FedEx, they will say it's an immediate need and you must start the following day. If you have to give your current employer a notice you will not be hired. After a few long days delivering packages you will be told to turn in your truck because FedEx doesn't have enough volume to run your routes, they will then ghost you and you'll be out of a job completely. If I could give them zero stars if I could. I repeat, DO NOT APPLY, HIRE AS A CONTRACTOR, OR WORK FOR KW LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION.
