Sola Osteria

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing anniversary meal at our new favorite Ridgewood restaurant. Service was prompt and knowledgeable (esp considering they opened only weeks ago). Everything was delicious - no complaints. From the burrata gazpacho to the fresh cavatelli, it was as good as it gets outside the city. Chef Sola was kind, attentive, and clear in his vision and philosophy for the establishment. Go while you can still get a table!

Made reservations for Pearl and when we arrived realized it changed owners to Solo. Jeremiah our server was great. Owner Massimo greeted us and came over several times to make sure everything was good. We had the burrata with gazpacho tomatoes which was excellent. Then the owner brought over grilled shrimp with avocado which was just as good. For the entree we had the lasagna with bolognese & bchamel for two it was so fresh and light. My husband and I highly recommend Solo and look forward to going back!

The food was great and the chef was so nice. He came to the table and talked to us. His enthusiasm was noticeable in the quality and taste of the food. Highly recommend you give this a try.

I stopped at Sola Osteria and the new owner and chef Massimo was amazing. I had this beautiful warm asparagus soup and calamari which was amazing. Food is amazing, chef is amazing everything overall is perfect . Stop by and have lunch or dinner because it is well worth it.
