My husband and I had an opportunity to meet with Cathy Farley, a Vice President and Trust and Asset Management specialist, with OceanFirst Bank. While I am always skeptical of sales people I came away with a profound appreciation for how Cathy responded to our questions. She was knowledgeable and professional, but most of all she came across well prepared. She did not try to sell us anything ( we have a substantial amount of money to invest), rather, she pointed out everything we needed to know to make a decision and promised to be there to HELP US WHETHER WE CHOSE OCEANFIRST OR NOT. While we interviewed other firms, OceanFirst stood out above the rest due to the way they manage funds, but mostly due to Cathys manner of dealing with us and knowing she is available 24/7 if we have questions. If you are considering an investment manager, or just someone to talk to for information, you will do well by calling Cathy. No hard sell, just competent and valuable information.
