Dot or Dorothy was completely rude and unprofessional during my tax appointment. Was trying to rush me out the door and cheat the system with the government. I was mortified because I like to be fair and I then had to ask to her to please stop and do my taxes the correct way. The whole time she was on a phone call with her girlfriend. And then she charged me triple what I should have paid!

Phil Mazziotta has been doing my taxes since we worked together at IBM over 35 years ago. He is very knowledgeable, professional, dependable, and friendly. Phil keeps his skills on taxes current and has one of the highest degrees, as an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. He has a great staff that is very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly.

I have used The Tax Shoppe for over 5 years now. Always good and full of expertise. However, this year the lack of communication is evident. I dropped my documents off on 2/20/23 though the door slip. 2 weeks goes by and NOTHING. I email--they said it's with the accountant. Another 5 days goes by NOTHING. Does it really take 3 weeks to even look at my material. I had specific questions about my return this year. Been waiting anxiously and NOTHING. as of 3/12/23- I will update and see how they fix this situation. Also, still no in person meetings which I requested. Come on. Let's improve our customer service guys! It's deteriorated completely.
