I've been a patient of Dr. Salvatore for several years now and can honestly say he's not just a terrific psychiatrist--and listener--but a great *doctor*. He is kind, thorough, efficient, and above all, effective. Transitioning to video chat has been a challenge for everyone, but he is obviously comfortable with technology and makes me consider remote visits even after the pandemic has ended. I saw another comment by someone who complained about his lack of availability, which seems unfair. He's busy for a good reason.

He's not accepting new clients - even when I asked if he could make an appointment for 6+ months out. Doesn't appear to maintain a calendar and/or wait-list.

Dr. Salvatore is an awesome doctor and was worth the wait. He listens to all my questions, he's available over email and responds super fast, and he knows medications and their pluses and minuses. And he actually talks to my therapist, unlike another psychiatrist I had before. I had to move out of town and find another shrink for ADHD and now appreciate his caring demeanor and intelligence even more. The only negative is that parking can be a problem in Princeton. But at least there's an amazing crepe place nearby.
