Run-of-the-mill daycare at mid-market price - Take it or Leave it. You could get lucky with a high-energy teacher. Expect no fixes from otherwise pleasant Administartor for whom a waitlist makes amends unnecessary. In the mid-market range, our experience with Goddard Princeton was better - lot less crowded, not as pleasant owner :) (as Harmony) but more enthusiastic staff. We changed schools to get closer home. In the world of kids, stick to whatever works (note to self). Moving to up-market price range schools in the area now, fingers crossed! All other Montessori(s) and Day-Care(s) in the area are level with Harmony or lower. Note to parents: Interview the specific teacher and ruminate over it a dozen times. Little else matters for toddlers. High-Energy (like Trump :) ) and well affectionate personality (Ms Esther at Harmony, the Goddard one - I forget her name) is all you need.

This place is ridiculous! I paid $50 to be on the waiting list. When my spot was available and I was ready to get my kid in, they took the spot away because I did not pay the first-month tuition fee one month before the starting date!!!!!! This was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! In a regular human sense, if you paid fee to be on the waiting list, you will get the spot when the spot becomes available. But not for this place! They want you to pay the tuition one month before you start! Otherwise you will lose the spot! I don't know how this place runs, but I have been to a few others later (Bright Horizon), and never heard this kind of ridiculous request. It cost me a lot of trouble and money due to that unexpected situation. They told me that they will contact me for the next available spot, but I have been waiting for a year and haven't heard anything yet! I am glad that I didn't send my kid to this place.

My experience with the Harmony school has been very positive. Previously, my son was attending a Bright Horizons, and I regret not starting my son earlier at the Harmony school. The staff was very accomodating during his transition from the prior daycare. The staff always kept him engaged, and ensured he was learning. In fact, I am running out of space to store all of the arts and crafts he had made while he was at the Harmony school! In addition, because of the education he received during pre-K, the first year of KinderGarten was a breeze! (He attended KG at another school.) In fact, I was so impressed with the Harmony school, then I enrolled my second son at the age of 6 months. The teachers have always been very hands-on, and are always able to answer my questions, and provide me with advice. The entire staff is very friendly, respectful, courteous, and professional. Going to work everyday is easy, as I know my son, who is now 2, is in great hands.
