    Owned by a Private equity backed group-PRISM -would not recommend. The doctor was very late to see my child. When I complained, the front desk person, and optical tech had such a nasty, condescending attitude-not a single Im sorry because there is zero respect for patients here since its all about the equity they generate for their investors and owners. Unfortunately, Dr Ritterbusch took it out on my child when she was alone with her in the exam room. She berated my child because I had complained about the long wait and lack of courtesy. Very, very unprofessional. The correct response is to apologize for the wait FYI. I guess this is what you get when your healthcare becomes an investment opportunity for the 1%-they no longer seem to have any care whatsoever about their patients. Its too bad because Dr Coleman is actually very nice and prompt but after this experience with the office, we will not be going back.

    Writing this review on behalf of my mother. She was scheduled to see Dr. Shovlin today for dacrocystitis. The appointment was cancelled 1 hour prior to the scheduled time due to the weather. The receptionist was extremely rude with a terrible attitude. She could not provide an appointment earlier than 2-3 months and was very condescending. As a subspecialized physician myself, I understand the difficulties of scheduling that come with a busy practice. It is unfortunate that our experience with the entire practice was marred by a single individual. Will not be returning and will not recommend this practice.

    I went to see Margaret Ritterbusch (for my yearly check up) and her appointment was so rushed and quick that I left with doubts that I had even had a thorough check up. I also feel that the prescription I received was not quite accurate, as she whisked me through the whole process. When I went to get new glasses, I realized how off the prescription actually was. It seemed like she was so nonchalant that she just didn't care about me as a patient. I also had a horrible and rude experience with the tech who did the preliminary testing, as she was also very short and impatient. I am now looking for a different doctor for my yearly exams where I can actually feel assured that my eye health is being taken seriously.

    I find it difficult to pay a bill from this provider on line. The local offices do not handle billing, and refer you to a central administrative location, where yu have to listen to all other departments and then billing, In addition, notification of BILL was sent on line. No paper bill ever received. Seems that billing is a secondary concern

    I had laser surgery by Dr Coleman and my experience was excellent she is first rate and the technician Christine who I saw before the Doctor was very professional and explained everything to me and made me feel at ease.I would highly recommend going to them.
