American Red Cross Blood Donation Center

Set up an appointment. Arrived at the office and staff said no one was there that could operate the machine to do a simple PowerRed donation. No one alerted me via phone or email beforehand. There were literally half a dozen staff and no donors inside. None of the staff offered to reschedule me or offered to do a whole blood donation. This is supposed to be the Central Jersey headquarters. What's going on here?

Can't sign in on website for blood donation. Other places just ask for a few pieces of information without having to deal with a user sign-in and password. Will not be donating blood

First time donor I was nervous at first but the staff was so welcoming and made me feel at home !! I will be back in a few months for such a great cause

Came for a platelet donation, was welcomed and checked in quickly. Friendly staff, explained each process in detail and asked if I had any questions or concerns. The setup was nice with a monitor and netflix for the platelet donation (2.5 hours). Got a good recommendation on a movie and they made sure I was comfortable for the entire process. I've donated blood at this location before and always have a pleasant experience.
