The White Sands Oceanfront Resort & Spa

We got a room in the main hotel (not the motel accross the street) Room was clean and had plenty of towels. Balcony overlooks a parking lot but we knew this going in (as the building is not on the beach but accross the street. The motel is on the beach but the rooms arent as nice as the main hotel). We got a double bed king room and it was roomy. The bathroom was clean, has a multi mode showerhead which was nice, and the room had a fridge, microwave, tv, hair dryer and expected hotel toiletries. There are light switches right by the beds which is nice and convenient. Room was a comfortable temperature we didnt need to use the in room unit. Bed feels stiff but offered a fine night sleep without any discomfort. Conveniently located a mile from jenkinsons pier it was a great location and we would definitely stay again. Attended an event in the ballroom that was very nice. The grout in the floor in and around the bathroom needs some repair but otherwise room was just fine :) Food & drinks: Hotel restaurant is NOT good. Their service is slow and food is terrible.

Granted, we went there for an event but it looked like a nice place to stay. Nearby activities: You are right in the thick of it all.

I would never stay at a family friendly hotel where your managers only sleep with married men. Women beware Megan b will try to take what is not hers.
