    I purchased a rather expensive wake/funeral arrangement ($313.48 with tax and delivery) on July 17th - to be delivered to a local funeral home by 2:00 PM on July 20th. We arrived to the Wake service on July 20th at its 4:00 PM start and did not see the arrangement I ordered. After numerous calls to the Pequannock Flower Shop during the Wake service and being given multiple excuses, the arrangement was finally delivered at the very end of the service. The family never even knew we’d sent the arrangement for them. This looked very bad for my husband as the service was for a family member of his boss. We were quite embarrassed and very upset to say the least. I later spoke with the owner, Rana (who also owns Denville Florist on Rt 46 in Denville, NJ, which I have frequented for years without issues) who agreed to credit back half of the cost of the arrangement. Since that time, I have checked my credit card statement each month and have never seen a credit applied. I have called Rana each month to request it and each month I am given an excuse and told it will be done. The last time I called on 11/27, I was advised that she lost my information and wanted my mailing details via text message to send a check. After a couple of weeks of not receiving the check, I texted Rana again on Dec. 13th... She apologized and said she’d been busy with her friend whose son passed away and “I will make sure you will receive a check from us on Monday by priority mail. Again apologies for this. Thanks Rana” I again gave Rana the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently. I also don’t like having to do this, but this whole situation just isn’t right when you own a business. It is now Jan. 3, 2020 - 5.5 months later and there has been no credit given or check received from Rana/ Pequannock Florist. I did text her again on Dec 24th. but did not even get a response this time. I’m sure she was busy with Christmas Eve orders. More than enough time to make things right. I am complete out the money spent because Amex only goes up to 90 days and I was being trusting for too long. I think I have been more than fair and patient and now it feels just wrong. Sad to say Rana - you've lost a long time customer.
