I would like to thank everyone who was taking care of my mother(Doris Wilson) When she first arrived I thought she would never be able to leave. After your rehab and care I was able to bring her home. Amanda and Monica were always there to answer questions and help me with decisions. Ron Zilinski

34 residents have died, in the past 10 months. The 5 star reviews were planted, on Google, by members of the facilities administration. They did so to bring the facilities rating up, in order to lure potential clients into a slum. The food is barely edible. Quite often residents can't tell what it even is! I've seen food served with mold on it, I've seen food served to burnt too eat, and they neither have a selection in what they want, nor can they request food between meals. There's a mold problem, in the walls, and black mold in the heater vents. Rodents are common in the winter, and insects everywhere during the summer. The bathrooms look, and smell, like restrooms you would find in a subway station, or gas station. The nurses aids ignore the call bells, and requests, and commonly talk down to residents. and bark orders at them. I've personally caught nurses stealing narcotic pain pills, brought the incidents to the administration, and the nurses involved were neither reprimanded, nor released from their jobs, and are STILL employed there. When the state goes there, to do inspections, supervisors come to the residents rooms and make them clean everything, and bring the rooms as close to code as possible, themselves. Funny, those residents pay their entire months income (disability checks that get signed over) to have to do work, themselves?!? It's not infrequent that nurse aids expect them to do work that the aids have been assigned. The facility commonly opens, and searches the residents mail. Items, and/or money, that goes missing, are never replaced. They are not allowed to sign out for the day, and the facility will not provide residents with the paperwork to leave on day trips, or their medication to take with them. They are, essentially, prisoners in a run down slum. DO NOT place your ramily here, if you want them to live long, happy, or at least comfortable lives, because this facility has no quoms with letting residents, with painful conditions, just sit alone in their rooms, until they die. This place is a hell hole, avoid placing family here, at all costs, because they'll end up suffering..... And apparently they have even change their name recently, hoping to avoid the stigma that was attached to the name Carneys Point Care Center. DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU! Autumn lake Care Center, is Carneys point Care Center, they are the same facility, and that place is a nightmare. DO NOT SENTENCE YOUR LOVED ONES TO THE SPENDING THE LAST OF THEIR GOLDEN YEARS IN THAT NIGHTMARE! It was so bad I left against medical advice, becoming homeless, rather than spend another year in that facility. Stay away at all costs!
