They do there best. And most actually really care . The receptionist was very helpful. You should give her a raise! Thanks Colleen

My daughter was involved in an accident that was not her fault, capital health gave her a ride to the hospital and sent her a bill for $7000, she filled out all the paperwork for the charity, and heard nothing from the hospital after that, now a year and a half later She is getting letters from a collection agency The ride was less than 2 miles from the accident scene to the hospital, why isnt the hospital sending a bill to the guy that caused the accident now my daughter is the victim here.

I am a Disabled Combat Veteran. I recently had one of the worst health care experiences while seeking medical treatment at this hospital. The ER doctor didnt bother to check on me for 5 hours and only after I asked multiple times if I could get some medical attention. The emergency room was not busy at all which made it even more frustrating. When the doctor finally came over she had a very bad attitude. I guess having a swollen throat and difficulty breathing is not a priority at this hospital. Please Veterans and civilians alike, if you have an opportunity to visit a different facility save yourself some time and grief and go to another hospital that actually cares about patients well being.

NEVER go to this hospital for emergency services that might require inpatient treatment especially if you or the person who needs treatment are over the age of 60. And if you have a family member who is over 80 and has been dealing with an illness, taking them to this hospital is like sentencing them to death. The nurses do the bare minimum (and dont bother to communicate important information to the next shift), time-sensitive orders from your loved ones physicians with hospital privileges will not be completed for many hours or even an entire day, and there are very few doctors on duty at any given time. Sometimes, there is only ONE doctor in the entire hospital *all day*! (FYI DOs only, and in all of the stays my family members have had in this hospital, Ive only ever met one who was engaging and on-the-ball.) I could say a lot more especially because five years ago, I witnessed my grandmother die of neglect in this hospitals ICU, and I will forever be traumatized by the way she was treated but typing this review is causing a spike in my blood pressure. So this will have to suffice for now. Bottom line: Capital Health (like so many hospitals in this country) is all about keeping up appearances and maximizing profitswhile failing to provide competent care to people whose lives depend on it.
