We appreciate your business and wish that we could’ve come to some sort of an agreement. It seems like you had buyers remorse the minute you drove off the lot. The car is not unsafe to drive. You obviously made it home without an issue. You drove the car here to the dealership so I can take care of a Light Bulb and to pick up the title. Engine and trans work as they should. You did tell me about a code and when I looked it up, I told you that it comes up as more than likely a vacuum leak. You then proceeded to send me a $10,000 bill. And wanted me to either pay this bill or take the car back . This is a ONE OWNER, carfax certified used car with an 8 page history report. You purchased this car at a reduced price. Almost $1000. Below Carfax retail market value. After you test drove it I tried to point towards a lower maintenance car but you wanted the BMW. I drove this car for a few days after we had it serviced & safety inspected without any issues at all! Unfortunately we cannot help you out with this almost $10,000 bill to restore a 15 year old BMW that was over $50,000 when it was brand new. You bought a 15 year old BMW for $6000 with over 135,000 miles. The BMW runs and it drives as I said it would . It hasn’t left you stuck on the side of the road. Nor has the transmission or the engine stop workIng. I Clearly told you that we do not guarantee inspection on these older cars because they’re just too old. All vehicles that come in get a service and safety inspection at one of the local repair shops that we deal with. We had this vehicle safety inspected and the tires and brakes were good and working as they should. Not brand new, but used in working condition. We replaced the a/c compressor and serpentine belt. We also flushed and replaced coolant , oil and filter. We did not restore the entire car to new condition. That would be impossible. I am willing to HELP you fix the issue but I will not help you with that ridiculous $10k bill to restore the car. ...................................................................................................................
