I absolutely love Dr. Shilad. My husband and I selected him as our ob/gyn to manage our prenatal care and delivery of our daughter. Having 2 prior c-sections and doctors whose bedside manner and compassion was lack luster (coming from my perspective as a nurse and patient), Dr. Shilad was a fresh breath of air. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, confident in his abilities, thorough and holds you accountable. My husband has great respect for Dr. Shilad and as a Nigerian man, that speaks for itself. He will answer any questions you have and give you the facts you need to make an informed decision. As far as wait time you may wait a little longer, but you should always plan to be at the doctor's office a minimum of 1 hour, anyone who works in the medical field knows this. Especially when you have a wonderful doctor who has more than one practice, has lots of patients, and he's in the business of delivering babies, one of the most unpredictable fields to work in. I've never had one unpleasant experience with Dr. Shilad or his staff. The lovely ladies at the counter are polite and on top of their stuff and on the off chance they messed up (which they have) they were extremely apologetic and Dr. Shilad held them accountable in front of me. I highly recommend him and his great team!
