Staff is rude af, staff is argumentative AND postures with the clients in ways that would never have been acceptable prepandemic. Updated 03/25/24 nothing has changed here staff is rude af and never wants to accept your Marriott number when we get credit for our incidentals, company booked me here by accident again, LAST TIME consistently a bad experience.

Upon entering the hotel u see an open concept with the lounge & eating area that felt professional. The hallways and the rooms were clean. The layout of the room was nice, unlike what you would expect from a Courtyard. One of the best parts for me was that the smell was very neutral for me. More times than not there are issues of order in hotel rooms; fortunately this wasnt the case here. The hotel was very quiet & was definitely a mature travelers destination. I enjoyed my stay here.

During our recent stay at Courtyard Marriott Paramus, NJ, we had a largely positive experience. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious and well-appointed with two queen beds, a small balcony, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The ice machine on the same level made it convenient to fill our coolers. The hotel offers a clean and relaxing courtyard area where our dogs could easily relieve themselves. The easy load and unload area under the covered entryway, along with the available bellman carts, made our stay hassle-free. We were pleased to find an onsite gym equipped with treadmills, bikes, dumbbells, and elliptical machines, allowing us to maintain our fitness routine during our stay. However, there were a couple of downsides to our stay. The laundry room was out of service, which was inconvenient, and there was no complimentary breakfast offered. As a loyal Marriott member I expect complimentary breakfast regardless of membership level and especially a kind gesture when other amenities are unavailable to make things better during the stay.
