Gowda Uma DMD

Extremely unprofessional. Ive been having a lot of pain on my teeth so I booked an appointment with them about 2 weeks ago. I was supposed to come in today so I called them to confirm my appointment. Thats when they told me the dentist was on vacation and supposedly everyones appointment got cancelled. They never bothered to let me know beforehand or call me to say that my appointment was cancelled. These people simply do not care about your time, only your money!!! I ADVISE EVERYONE TO AVOID UMA GOWDA EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MONEY HUNGRY INDIVIDUAL.

I worked in another office with this woman and she has the worst bedside manners with Patients and coworkers. It was frustrating to constantly hear complaints from patients. I wouldnt let her work on my dogs mouth. She doesnt even deserve one star. She has poor communication skills and is very disrespectful.

THEY JUST DON'T CARE. I WILL NOT GO TO THEM AGAIN. Made an appointment for Nanuet office, went to Nanuet office and there was no one there. I was charged $40 for "missing the appointment" in Paramus. But I never made an appointment in Paramus to begin with. When tried to Talk to Gowda, she started yelling and fighting with me. Slopy, useless X-Rays. Poor quality work. God knows what they are X-Raying. Stay away till they get their stih together.

I've only had good experiences with Dr. Gowda. I had gotten my wisdom teeth pulled in Germany and was back in the United States. When my Germany surgeon wouldn't prescribe pain meds or antibiotics for my extremely painful dry socket post extraction, Dr. Gowda fit me into her schedule last minute because I was in so much pain and gave me antibiotics. I felt better within 24 hours. Grateful that she fit me in during her lunch hour. My husband also started getting his dental cleanings from her. He had PTSD from a dentist long ago who chipped one of his teeth during a cleaning and has been skeptical ever since but once he changed to Dr. Gowda, he has been getting his cleanings regularly.
