Our son started at the Brick PPK mid October 2023. It has honestly been life changing for us in so many ways. At the end of November 2023, he started an intensive outpatient behavioral therapy group program at Jersey Shore. He was diagnosed ADHD, ODD and suspected of being on the spectrum. We were told he would be in group for 6 months, possibly longer. He graduated early on March 8th, just about 10 weeks later. I honestly believe that is because of what he has learned, brought home and applied from PPK. This place is so much more than just karate. The engagement and commitment they have to have fun yet teach our kids all about discipline, respect, leadership, dedication.. the list goes on.. We adore Master Steve and Master Dave. The hands on teaching and interaction with each and every kid is something I will never understand how they do it. Every single child gets recognized. This isnt a place where youre just a number. They know you by name the first day. Thats how you KNOW they care about your kids. Everyone there is amazing. Mr. Lohmeyer and Ms. Lindsey also always make it a point to give a high five, say hello and acknowledge Michaels hard work and progress. We are so thankful for the family we have gained theres no other place we would rather be on the road to black belt with.

Our son has been going here for almost one year and I can honestly say it has made a huge difference in his discipline, attitude and manners. Master Andrew, Sensei Steve and Sensei Mike have created such a positive environment for these kids. I have never seen anything like it.

My son is on the autism spectrum, along with having ADHD. I cant begin to express how lucky we are to have this team of individuals in his life. He has made leaps and bounds with his behavior, listening and social interactions. Paul Prendergast Karate has replaced my sons ABA therapy. Master Dave and Master Steve are some of the best role models, along with the apprentices. They are accepting and patient. If you have any interest, just try it once!!!!
