If I could give 100 zero stars I would! The place used to be called Summer Hill known as Summer KILL for a reason. Recently changed their name to Autumn Lake as a one of the giants bought into it and lemme tell ya they should have changed the name to the Hell Hole Hyatt or Kavorkians Playground. These other reviews are def paid for or friends and family leaving reviews My grandmother (93) was placed in their care from the hospital after a fall for rehab I wouldnt rehab a feral cat missing two eyes and three paws at this place. When we were finally able to get my grandmother into an amazing facility the below is a snippet of the email I sent to them regarding why we were discharging her: Lemme just add the adventure is still not over with these people now dealing with them refusing to discharge our funds over 4 months later! If you're looking into offing someone sign em up for this place! I am writing to inform you xx will be leaving Autumn Lake on Monday xxx due to the deplorable conditions we have witnessed over the past few months. Unfortunately, it was our last meeting with (woman who works there) that confirmed the conditions were unsatisfactory. She herself agreed the facility is not up to par and we should say something. Just to brush the surface of issues we have witnessed include dirty gloves thrown on the floor, the place often smells of urine and feces, my mothers/grandmothers room is dirty, she is wearing random peoples clothes, people going to the bathroom all over, etc. Additionally, during XX stay at Autumn Lake she fell twice, on a separate occasion she was completely black and blue on her arms and face and we were never informed nor did/does anyone claim to know what happened to her and another time her elbows were torn and an outside wound care company had to come in and bandage her which we only found out about because we were billed. There is only one nurse XX that ever knows what is going on (we appreciate her!) Trying to get answers from anyone else is nearly impossible and everyone just says oh I wasnt here then. Being her last fall two weeks ago landed her back in the hospital, we feel it is in everyones best interest XXX is relocated to a new facility that is better equipped to care for her being it does not seem like Autumn Lake is able to care for my grandmother with the quality we or really anyone would expect. People are entrusting you to take care of their loved ones. It is really saddening that this is the treatment they are given everyday. They are literally shuffled into a little room to sit there all day. No activities are done with them! Email continues, but Im sure you all get the point RUN. And if youre planning on running there they wont let ya. Theyll strap ya down in a wheel chair even if ya can walk!

During my latest visit with my brother and on previous visits, I couldn't help but notice a persistent urine odor in the corridors. While I acknowledge that facilities may occasionally lack a clean and deodorized scent, it appears that the persistent odor gives the impression of insufficient disinfection.
