I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quiet casual family, friends, single or couples time away. They were so welcoming and helpful. There is a shared kitchenette, and good coffee or tea in the morning. Public porches and board games for relaxing. The market is a hop skip and just away. Walkability: Shops are close by and crossing guards 9 to 5. Noteworthy details: Complementary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. I arrived in the evening and they kept my bag for the day after I checked out.

This was a wonderful beach hotel. It is on Main Street 3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from the center of town. More like a bed and breakfast, it was a gorgeous older hotel with cozy rooms and three great porches. Very quiet and the host for the weekend, Jerry, was great. They have discounted beach passes for guests, umbrellas and chairs to bottled water to buy for a $1. Perfect amenities for a beach day! Hotel and rooms very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

Rooms: Nice rooms. WiFi didnt work for me. Housekeeping not so great. Walkability: Very close to the beach! You can also walk down the boardwalk to Asbury Park. Food & drinks: A few restaurants nearby that are very overpriced. Days Ice Cream is an exception. Hotel offers coffee in the mourning in the lobby but no breakfast. Noteworthy details: Friendly staff. They have beach towels and chairs available to use. A room in the back for games, reading, etc. Kind of over priced, but Ive stayed there the last 3 years.
