Absolutely incredible school! If you are looking for a top notch education for your child, you should really look no further than Barnstable Academy! Caring staff that wants your child to succeed and they will push them to succeed.

We switched to Barnstable years ago. The main reason was our child was having severe school anxiety. Barnstable was a life changer for us, and my child will be graduating high school from there! The staff is friendly, courteous, even fun to talk to. In our 8 years there, we've never come across an issue that wasn't tended to immediately, and with my child being involved in the solution process. I can't say enough about the teachers. My child has very close bonds with some of them. They are very attentive to each individual's needs and learning styles. My child always felt comfortable there, but still challenged academically. For us, the one-on-one learning option (cost extra, but worth it!) was a life savior when Algebra was introduced. We're grateful to have found Barnstable because of its friendly atmosphere, individual attention, close bonds among staff and students (and parents!), challenging academics with a reasonable amount of homework, and the extra guidance they receive learning executive functioning and other life skills.

It is an amazing school, makes you think why can’t all schools be this good! Definitely a model school, my son is excelling and happy to go to school everyday!
