The whole experience was pleasant, fast, and a non-issue. There's no need for me to grab and squeeze the dental armchair in anticipation of the pain, choking, and gagging that accompanied all of my previous encounters with dentists in the past.

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I had a problem with my bite following a cavity filling from another dentist. I repeatedly went in to try to get this fixed locally with no luck, and multiple dentists and 7 appointments later, I started to think this would never be fixed. In visiting family, I found myself at Dr. Buchers office. This office and the entire staff is like a breath of fresh air. Patty cleaned my teeth, and she is just amazing. She walked me through every step, and made this such a pleasant and genuinely enjoyable experience. She explained that she would be as gentle as possible, but it was important for her to be thorough, so if I needed a break or if I was ever uncomfortable, I should raise my left hand, because I might not be able to raise my right hand because of the equipment. Its a small detail, but all of the small details make it very clear from the moment you walk into this office that everyone knows exactly what theyre doing, and with the experience level of everyone on the staff, its no surprise at all. Within minutes of being in Dr. Buchers chair, my bite was back to normal. Within MINUTES, my four months of pain and discomfort was gone. He described the exact details of the pain Id been having for months within seconds. It was a one millimeter difference on one of my back teeth, which was causing a 3 millimeter difference in the front of my bite. I cant explain the relief of finding a dentist I could trust to find a millimeter difference, and he immediately understood the impact of this on someones bite and the pain it could cause. Not even a single millimeter could make it past Dr. Bucher. I genuinely would travel 650 miles for this level of care. If you live in this area, PLEASE go see Dr. Bucher! Believe me, you dont want to spare that millimeter. :)
