Arbor Terrace Norwood

Chris Winnie has been such an amazing partner with us in caring for my mom. He is always so friendly and really sweet. Chris truly cares about my mom!

We recently chose Arbor Terrace Norwood for my mother. In the process of making our decision we spent a lot of time with Chris Winnie, the Community Sales Director at Arbor Terrace. Chris was fantastic on all levels: he was well informed on all topics, very transparent, and very communicative at every stage of the decision making process. There were never any surprises because he made sure we knew what to expect all the way through. Further, after we decided on Arbor Terrace he went above and beyond to ensure my Mom's transition into the community was a smooth one. He's still checking on her even six months after she joined the AT community! Chris is a consummate professional and very empathetic. Arbor Terrace Norwood is an exceptional place. When I met with Chris Winnie, Director of Sales, I thought it sounded too good to be true. Now that my mom has been there for almost a year, I can say without a doubt that he was absolutely right about all he promised. My mom thinks of the staff as family. She has adopted all of them - and she has done that because they treat her like family - with care, respect, humor, compassion, and love. They have become our extended family. The activities they provide keep her mind and body active. She describes the food as excellent (and given that cooking was always her joy, that is high praise indeed). She has a core group of friends, but knows everyone. She may forget a name, but she has a smile for everyone. I find myself having a great time when I visit, not only seeing her in the comfort of her suite but also playing trivia with the "group." Arbor Terrace Norwood has made all of our lives better.

After looking at several assisted living facilities we chose Arbor Terrace at Norwood, because the staff was professional and caring. The staff always makes sure our parents needs are taken care of, which is a huge relief for our family. The facility is always clean and if repairs are needed they done in a timely manner. Terry at the front desk is always welcoming and always offers assistance to parents and family. When my mother had a medical procedure Chris Winnie sent flowers and came to see her. These are just some examples of Arbor Terrace at Norwood and why we are happy to be part of its community.
