If you have extra money then go with this company. I was quoted $975 to repair bed frame rails.  I wanted to thank the project manager for not returning my calls because I ended up getting the rails fixed for $150 at riderfurniture.com 732-940-0842.  You deal with one person who repairs and prices the repair.  His name is Jon.  He was very diligent, honest and very easy to work with.  I will definitely go back to Rider Furniture for all my future needs.

We've had them restore 5 pieces of furniture for us, a cedar chest and a set of 4 wooden dining room chairs, about a year apart and they did a great job with everything. The cedar chest had a horrible mothball smell inside it that we couldn't get rid of, and just generally needed to be tightened up and restored. We weren't able to keep anything in it because the smell was so strong. They sealed the smell and generally fixed up other small problems with it. Now it's a great piece that we'll never get rid of!  The wooden chairs badly needed to be painted and just generally repaired. They look beautiful now.  The prices were reasonable for the quality of work done, and less than other quotes we got. The staff is responsive and helpful. If we needed anything else done, we'd definitely give them a call!

STAY AWAY!!! They refinished my dinette table. It looked great UNTIL we used it. We put a WARM aluminum tin on the table and it left a large imprint from the bottom of the tin. We also noticed imprints from our place mats! We called Ron, who came over and agreed that it should not have happened and was caused by the lacquer not being hard enough. He said he was going to research a suitable lacquer and come back to us with the implication being it would be refinished properly. We then had the Covid shutdown and Furniture Medic was closed. When they reopened we called Ron again, who told us the owner was not guaranteeing his work, and if we wanted to have it redone we would have to pay for it again with a 10% discount!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
