I have very mixed feelings about this place. I applied for my NP license over a year ago. I called about 1-8 times a month. The staff over the phone are all very kind and professional but have no control with the board of nursing. They take your comments down and forward it to board of nursing. I finally decided to come in after starting my application in 11/2022.
Mrs Darby handled my case this morning. She was very professional and respectful She told me my license number will be posted before the EOD. As I was walking to the train station about 15 min later, my license number was posted! The staff at the board of nursing seemed very helpful to all the applicants. I highly recommend going in person if your application is pending for a while and everything is completed. I think the issue is that they review everything by paper instead of online, hence why the system is super slow. Whatever system they use needs to be updated but I don't think that's the staffs' fault.
The building opens at 9am but they don't let anyone go up to board of nursing until 10. So best time to walk in is 9:45 am as a lot of people come in and line up.
