Elevators haven't worked in months. Garage door is broken again. The Heat isn't working. Nothing is ever fixed. Just rename the place Forest Hills Projects. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

As A long time resident, I can honestly say, this building is on the decline. The "secure parking" does not exist for the middle and top levels. The gate has been broken for the last 10 months. I was told in August of last year (2022) it would take 6 to 8 weeks for part to arrive. When your ac/heater unit leaks, and it will, you will be told, the replacement tiles are hard to find. One year later, we still have water damaged tiles. If you're looking at apartments in 515, expect to be misled about the elevators. While there are technically three, all three never work at the same time. On a good day two elevators will be working, however, there is a 50-50 chance, only one will be working. Then there are the days, when NONE of the elevators are working. People are frequently getting stuck and the ventilation fans don't work. A lot of the long time residents are seniors. When I moved here, older tenants would sit in the lobby and socialize. During Covid, building management took the opportunity to remove furniture from the lobby, for public health reasons. Interestingly, the furniture at 555, and the senior building next door did not remove their furniture from their lobbies. When I complained to the office, that this is supposed to be a luxury apartment building, I was told " this is not a luxury apartment building"). If you can afford the rent here, you can afford to live someplace without all the problems of 515 Mount Prospect Avenue.

This used to be a nice place to live, but it's gone downhill. I wouldn't recommend anyone live here. HVAC issues have been going on unfixed for months with no word from management on repairs. They busted up a hole in our wall to "examine" the issue and just left it there covered with a garbage bag. Elevators constantly broken, laundry machines constantly broken, garage door hasn't closed in over a year. While the building has been radio silent on when repairs will be made, they know how to contact tenants to raise the rent. What an insult, when the building is falling apart.

On January 31st, 2023, I moved out of a unit located in 515 Mt Prospect Ave. I left the apartment clean and in excellent conditions. I'm still chasing, and making phone calls to get the reimbursement of my security deposit. Every time I call, either no one answers and I leave a detail voicemail message. If I'm lucky to speak with Property Manager, Indiana either the accountant is new, or on vacation, or the accountant came back from vacation and she will call me back. Nothing happens. They are very quick to get your money, but to reimburse it...it takes for ever. I rate management 1 star because there is not an option for zero star. The maintenance staff and housekeeping are very good.
