Bruce S. Lessing Plumbing & Heating

We have used Bruce S. Lessing Plumbing & Heating in New Providence, NJ for the past several years for miscellaneous plumbing issues and tasks at our 92-yr. old Summit house.  Bruce is very responsive to spur of the moment plumbing issues and takes care in doing the job correctly the first time, charging fair prices for his labor and materials.  For us he has replaced exterior hose bibbs, a kitchen faucet and sink trap, toilet fill valve, and installed a water heater expansion tank.  As a licensed Architect, I appreciate Bruce's plumbing skill, knowledge and experience, as well as his dedication to performing excellent workmanship for all plumbing tasks.  I therefore can highly recommend him to others for all residential plumbing needs.

Our 14 month old hot water heater failed. We contacted the company who originally installed it and got the run around and then they became unresponsive. We were without hot water for 4 days. On a Sunday we called Bruce and he called us back asap. Monday we had a new hot water heater installed by Bruce.  He is a great guy and his people are just as wonderful. We will use only Bruce for our plumbing needs. Highly recommend him. Thank you Bruce!

I can't say enough good things about Bruce Lessing. He's helped with at least 3 emergency projects at 2 different properties. When you call Bruce's office you can be assured of 2 things. Bruce will personally call you back; and when he or his team arrive to do the job he will do it right no matter how challenging. I often tell people it's more important to have a good plumber than a good doctor. And if you use Bruce I stand by that.

I highly recommend working with this company. I called them in a panic when the pipes in my home started making some crazy noises and Bruce was able to come over within an hour of me calling. He assessed the problem and was able to put my mind at ease. He fixed our upstairs toilet that seemed to be causing the noises and shaking the the walls. He also discovered that my main water valve was extremely old, leaking for quite a bit, and will be replacing that for me in a week or so once I get the water company to come and shut off the water. Bruce is compassionate, knowledgeable, and an honest contractor. These are qualities that are so hard to come by these days.
