A tiny place in North Brunswick packs big flavors that are authentic, delicious, satisfying, and just on point.
I had the classic falafel no lettuce and added turnip pickles. The sandwich looked small but was extremely flavorful and filling. I only wish it had more tahini.
I also had the lamb shawarma no lettuce and added turnip pickles. The lamb was nicely cut thin, caramelized, and spices were traditional but honestly can be called Mamouns own take on the sandwich.
The hot sauce. Ok now: not for the faint of heart, and a little goes a long way. Flavor, power, depth, potency, and goes really well with the sandwiches especially falafel. Must try at least once.
Only been here once but I have to say Ill be back for more as many times as I can whenever Im in the neighborhood.
