Incredibly fast & really easy process! Literally was in and out within 10 minutes and the people working there were really nice. Logistics: When you pull in tell the person in the booth you are there for birth certificate and you can park for free at Civic Square in the back entrance. Then if you walk towards the left glass doors you will see it says "Health Department" on the outside and as soon as you walk in they are the first department with a big glass window on the left.

I needed to get my sons birth certificate. The ladies that work in this department are excellent, so helpful, quick and efficient. I really appreciated this, after having a frustrating time at the DMV, and having to go back 3 times because of miscommunications.

Visited recently for birth record and the whole process took less than 10 mins. The building has free parking and office is located on first floor only right in front. Filled up the form and they printed it in few minutes. Call before you go to confirm if they are available, lunch/holiday hours, etc.

If I can give ZERO stars I would. Took an hour off work to get my newborn babies birth certificate. Only to be greeted by an office that does not have certificate paper. And was then instructed to go all the way to Trenton - almost an hour away to get the paperwork. Unacceptable and ridiculous for vital statistics office. How do you not have the paper and this is literally the purpose of this office. Only New Brunswick SMH
