Hypocrites who do not care about the rights of Americans with Disabilities. Eva Zelson failed to reasonably communicate regular updates regarding the case for months on end and then withdrew from the case when I confronted her about it. Claimed to take cases that were important to her then showed her true colors by shaming me for my trauma and disabilities by throwing me under the bus the first chance it was convenient for her. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS LAW FIRM, especially if you are an American with Disabilities. See below they are proving my point with their reply. I never withheld any information and gave my entire side of the story of what my employer had done to exacerbate my pre-existing medical condition which is now so bad that I am disabled and can no longer work and almost died twice since my employer traumatized me. When I filed my suit, my employer countersued me for behavior that I had engaged in that was a direct result of my disability as a tactic to deflect from their own actions. Eva Zelson promised me she would contact me as soon as she received their amended counterclaim and we would thoroughly discuss their claims together and decide how to proceed. In the interim, I emailed her regular updates regarding my medical treatment, including a medical report from a doctor diagnosing me with a new condition that explained thoroughly my deficits. Oftentimes I did not receive a reply, but waited patiently and put my trust in her. I informed her that there was a risk that my PTSD could worsen this year and I had to step up into a higher level of care because my panic attacks were increasing. I still received no reply. Finally, after many attempts to contact Eva, on 8/25/23 I very clearly explained WHY I am not liable for their claims. I then find out Eva Zelson had received their amended counterclaim several days earlier and never notified me or made any attempt to follow through on what she promised. I also found out Eva Zelson had another attorney, Derek Demeri, speak with the opposing attorney without first speaking with me or informing me of the content of those conversations which is incredibly disrespectful to the client. While yes I was in a panicked state during my communications, nothing I said was rude or harassing and I merely asked that Derek please introduce himself to me and if he was supposed to be supporting Eva during that time that they should have explained that better so I would know who to contact. Instead of introducing himself to me, Eva filed the motion and lied about informing me that she would be filing the motion in the actual paperwork without calling me to speak with me first and work things out. And when I called the paralegal who sent it to me to ask a few questions in a perfectly calm and pleasant manner, she was incredibly disrespectful, rude, and condescending. So like I said, I was shamed for my trauma, I am now being shamed for my disabilities, and they are correct there are two sides to every story and now you just heard the truth. And for the record, the new disability I was diagnosed with is Autism Spectrum Disorder and the company I filed a suit against serves my population, individuals on the autism spectrum, which makes it even more painful that the place where I should have been safest is the place that made me fear for my life. Edit: The behavior they sued me for was sending emails, which was a maladaptive coping mechanism to regulate the intensity of the emotional pain they inflicted, so they are a LITERAL manifestation of the emotional harm, which any medical expert could attest to! And my employer lied about the content which I was never given the chance to discuss, as the emails contain detailed timelines of the illegal and unethical activity that was occurring at the company and the science of traumas effects on the body and brain. I feel betrayed and hurt that Eva told me she was trauma informed and would fight for this cause with me, then turned her back on me when she should have understood better than anyone and publicly defamed my character.

I didnt even get to speak to an attorney because they just keep on asking for my personal information; email I dont understand why that is necessary now when Im not even in contact with the attorney. I mentioned politely that I dont mind sharing that information once I speak to an attorney because its personal and you already have my full name and number. Theyre rude!

Mr. Zeff is an excellent attorney who cares for his clients. He is respectful and knowledgeable. Also - he is honest about the outcomes. Some lawyers promise the world to sign a client; Mr. Zeff does not. He has the integrity to be honest with clients. Highly Recommend.
