Marlboro Memorial Middle School

This school has treated me horribly. I’ve been going to this school for 2 years I’m in the 8th grade they think I have behavioral issues they told my parents lies and whenever I ask for them to pull it up my “behavioral issues” on the cameras they say no. There trying to send me to a priavate school in nj that I had previously gone to called cpc. Cpc literally physically abuses there students and they are allowed to hit there students. This school make me wanna die almost every day and to top it all off they taken me off the bus made it so I go home at 12:45 and taken me out of lunch and gym. The old middle school (mms) is way better and I hate that I switched.

As a student, I would have to say that this school deserves negative stars. I've been a student at MMMS for 3 years now and I can officially say that this sucks. The school during the spring and early summer have centipedes and other bugs crawling around the school. Some parts of the school are extremely hot with and other parts of the school are freezing. I think the dumpster of McDonald’s could have provided me a better meal than the frozen food they serve at lunch. I have not seen anyone cook anything ever. Also, they care more about sports than other clubs clearly. Why is it that the cheer team gets sweatpants and shirts yet the basketball team gets no new jerseys and art scenery has been using the same flats for years? Dress code clearly isn’t in use because I see a bunch of girls wearing the most inappropriate clothing it’s almost funny how much this school does not care. The school boards complain about students being out for a certain amount of days, yet they are letting us get sick by their unsanitariness. Like what’s up with not having soap in the boy's bathroom half the time? That’s actually vile. In addition to this, having the teachers depend on the Chromebooks is totally not preparing us for high school whatsoever. Literally, high school is paper and pencil no computers. The staff is another issue. I don’t know if some of these teachers know how to hide favoritism or not because that is such a huge issue. Literally, all the “popular” kids are adored by some of these teachers it is super unprofessional. Like the amount of times I have seen these kids look at the teacher’s phones is crazy. In some teachers room, (not gonna call her out) she had “special lunch help” for certain students and during class I literally saw her give a girl lip gloss while showing her snaps from her snapchat. At least wait until we are gone to say bad things about your students. Oh, and taking care of bullying? What a joke at this school. Like in my experience, someone started drama on social media and it blew up into this whole thing where basically the whole school hated me. They always encouraged going to them if there was a problem. Want to know the exact words they said to me? “It didn’t happen on school grounds so there isn’t anything we can do.” That was a horrible decision going to them. Teachers in the whole grade got involved and I was pinned as a villain and monster because of all the trash being talked around this school. “Popular people,” said bad things about me to teachers and they believed them (again favoritism) teachers even seemed to hate me. It blew up even more after that and rumors were spread and this school did NOTHING. It even ended up affecting me in school. I would cry during lunch and who cared? NOBODY. I was literally made fun of in health class (teachers witnessed) and I started crying and who did anything? NO ONE. This school is such a joke. I hate you MMMS. I’m happy to say goodbye in a few months. P.S - The person who said all the bad reviews are from students, who cares? Not like any of you adults go to this school or even have been a student before.

I had a very good time at the school. Excellent actually, for the short three years I went there I made a lot of friends, it was a great time. Would do it again if I could get younger.
