        Everyone was very friendly and returned phone calls right away when I had a question. Would have liked phone call updates on loan a little more, but everyone was helpful.

        Our experience was ok (weve experienced much better with a previous home purchase). My biggest problem was that the assumption was made that my husband was the main signature on the documents with zero regard for me when it comes to the VA loan fee, etc. this poor assumption almost cost us thousands of dollars. Adjustments were needed to our closing documents the night before closing due to this assumption. The documents came to us right before we walked into closing leaving us little to no time to look them over. However, everyone could be reached by phone. The list of documents needed was never ending. The list was not sent all at once but sent in pieces with a notification everyday (just adding stress to an already stressful home buying situation). We closed about a month ago and have received mail almost everyday from CrossCountry Mortgage. It is extremely annoying and the envelope is labeled as if it is important but it is nothing related to our mortgage and nothing more than spam mail.
