    Amy and her team did an AMAZING job decorating for our baby shower! I cant get over how cute everything came out!!! She was very professional and helpful with any questions I had from start to finish! I sent her my vision and she exceeded my expectations and we couldnt have been any happier! All the guests loved the decor as well! Im happy I found this venue and definitely will be using her services again in the future!

    AMAZING AMAZING AMAZINGGG! I gave her a theme and my color scheme and left the rest to her. She did an amazing job bringing everything to life. I had total faith but the decor, cake and treats were beyond what I imagined. Thank you so much for making my baby shower so beautiful and capturing my vision for the night. I highly HIGHLY recommend.

    PART 2 I told Amy we would try to negotiate with the venue owner as this was an unexpected additional expense and Amys venue wouldnt accommodate the count of guest we were expecting. Amy did try to grant us a discount to use her venue which was very generous of her, but again the count wouldnt correlate with the space she had available & the distance from her venue to my Home although convenient for her would be 45 minutes from me which I did not want to do. Decor By Lizs owner Lizzette worked very well with us. We had agreed that since Amy had initially stated she would provide her own linen & buffet chaffers, the owner discounted those materials from her venue rental pricing. I told Amy we got the venue & all would Be set for September 11th. Did I mention to Amy my agreement with Lizette? No, why? Because it doesnt concern Amys services. I then asked Amy if the 2-hour set up time that Lizette gave us would Be enough for her. Again, as always, lack of response from Amy. Eventually we paid Amy the remaining balance as the date was getting closer and of course when people see their money thats when they response. I mentioned to Amy that all that the venue owner was to provide were the tables and chairs & so we confirmed the count & Amy sent over a picture of her charger plates. She asked if the venue owner would allow her more time to set up which was frustrated since I had asked Amy and never heard back regarding That matter, so I ended up Giving Amy, Lizettes phone number and told her to call Her and arrange that herself. Skipping ahead, we finalized everything that needed to be done. My partner and I are expecting a little girl, but our favorite color has always been Turquoise. So yes, we threw a turquoise Baby shower theme for a little girl. Our main fear was people correlating it to a boys shower so here was our vision. We wanted Tiffany Blue (Turquoise) Balloons, Mint Green, White or Clear balloons or as stated in my text a combo of both. We wanted white flowers, did not Care if they were fake for budget purposes and did not care which flowers scattered around all the balloons to give it a feminine touch. Ive attached an inspo picture of what we had shown her multiple Times: again, instead of the silver our end thought was clear or white balloons or a combo or both. And Im sorry this review is long; Im Trying to be as thorough and honest as possible in reasoning to why this is a bad review for Desantiis Co. The table decor was to be simple with minimal gold accents and the centerpieces we had agreed would be some tables with high vases & floral and some tables with low cylinders submerged in water and turquoise petals topped with a tea light candle. Prior to finalizing the centerpiece, Amy told us to send us our thoughts and she would let us know if it was in budget. After sending her what 3 image inspo, we came to the high and low centerpiece combo & she never stated it would not Be within budget, so we proceeded. Note: In the past we had discussed a silver drape that I did not want and then discussed an additional Wall rental, it was simply over budget, so it was dismissed right away. If something isnt within budget, let me know and we will find another idea or let you know we are willing to pay extra which clearly, we werent able to. A few days before the Baby shower, I get a call from Amy saying she lost the cake inspo pictures and asked if we had them. Eventually we found them, but it frustrated me that this event was postponed to a later date, so the cake should have already been ordered and the baker should have already had this information at hand. But its fine, human error, we sent her to images again and went about our day.

    PART 1 This review is solely based on the fact that we tried to communicate with Amy and resolve an issue & inconvenience on both parties & it got nowhere. At first, we met Amy, and she was fantastic. She came to my building in which I was going to host my Baby shower in the event space indoor outdoor setting & we discussed what our vision was. During these times, financially weve been having some issues and have had no support from anyone except primarily my mother financially to afford a Baby shower. We thought about not doing one to save the $, but its become a tradition in our family, so we went on with it anyways. With that being said, we discussed a vision with Amy, and we came to an agreement. She stated she would add complimentary a welcome sign and buffet chaffers. Shortly after this initial consult, we decided to pursue her services, paid her a cash deposit & did not hear from her for some time. Note: We hired Amy because she stated she had vendors whom she would Contact and take care of the main things. We did not use her catering services nor venue at the time as my building was offering me a huge discount for Their event space & budget was already stretched. We did hire her for decoration of the Baby shower, utilizing her cake vendor, centerpiece vendors, wall rental and couch vendors. She did address she was an event coordinator, so we assumed that was the title of service we were paying for. We had also discussed favors which never were spoken of after this day & I just dealt with it on my own. Long story short, she had gone on vacation, never sent the contract to us nor the cash receipt after that initial consult. I reached out multiple times terrified that we had just gotten scammed, but all got resolved about a week and a half later. Shortly after this hiccup, it became a lack of communication with Amy. Im a very type A person and I can understand how overwhelming I may be so I told her many times, Im very picky with things and I expect her to let me know if she can execute my vision. And if she couldnt, it was fine we would look elsewhere. Nonetheless, I had to reach out to her to find out about most of the details if not almost all for my Shower. Normally we expect people to reach out to us and say, hey heres what Im thinking for the couch, the decor, the centerpieces, cake etc based on what we spoke About. Often times I was the first one to reach out asking if she had any update on if she had found the color scheme we wanted, which couch, and any other detail That needed to be discussed. Amy responded many times stating that she was going on vacation again, had other events & normally doesnt plan anything or reserve things until 2 weeks prior to the event. Closer to the baby shower, she had gone on vacation a week prior & I was worried because we had no Definite answer that anything was reserved, confirmed, finalized & I wasnt given peace of mind that things would be as envisioned. Unfortunately, pregnant and dealing with personal Matters, I got COVID and we decided to postpone the event. I reached out to Amy letting her know around a week and a half in advance hoping to find a better date that would suit her availability & my other vendors (photographer & makeup artist). We agreed to September 11th. Normally we expected her to have everything set and reserved as she had stated she began the process 2 weeks prior to events & us notifying her a week prior to the event that we had to cancel, everything should have been set in stone. Clearly it was not. Skipping Through the back and forth of trying to find another event space as the weather wasnt Promising and we were fearful more bad luck would happen, we stumbled upon a venue 4 blocks away from my Home.
