In 2022, I sought treatment from Dr. Evan Mast for discomfort in my bottom right second molar, which had visible black spots I suspected were cavities. Despite my specific concerns about this tooth, Dr. Mast initially dismissed the black spots as mere stains and attributed my pain to an issue with the first molar, suggesting an impacted wisdom tooth was the causedespite me having had my wisdom teeth removed in 2017 and having no discomfort since then. He insisted that nerve connections made it difficult to accurately identify the source of my discomfort. After agreeing to a treatment plan that included gum cutting, fillings, and eventually a crown for the first molar, I endured a painful and costly process. This included the initial gum cutting, filling and crown placement, followed by a second procedure (including gum cutting and filling) due to unfavorable healing and a fractured filling, which led to bone loss and ultimately, the extraction of the tooth. Dr. Mast had initially advised that a root canal might be the worst-case scenario, not an extraction. To my dismay, during a dental cleaning in 2023, a hygienist discovered a significant cavity in the second molarthe very tooth I had originally complained about, which Dr. Mast had assured me was only stained and not the source of my discomfort. This revelation came after spending thousands on treatments for a different tooth, based on Dr. Mast's diagnosis. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the outcome of my treatments under Dr. Mast's care, which not only failed to address the initial problem but also led to unnecessary procedures and the loss of a healthy tooth.

I recently had a dental emergency where one of my crowns fell off and I was in considerable pain. I was able to get an appointment with Dr Evan Mast. He and his staff were excellent, very professional, and courteous. After a quick but thorough exam Dr Mast found a fracture in my tooth, the cause of the pain. Together we decided it would be best to extract the damaged tooth and put in an implant. I was extremely happy and satisfied with the way the doctor and his staff painlessly took care of me. I will definitely be using his office for my future dental needs. I highly recommend Dr Mast and Advanced Dentistry of Middlesex. Thanks again to the whole staff.

They were great! I had an emergency situation re an infection and needed a root canal the next day (Saturday) at 9am. They got me in and the procedure was easy. Highly recommend them!

The team at Advanced Dentistry is fantastic! The name of the practice and statement of being a "Dental 365 Company" is truly appropriate! The team works seamlessly to provide exceptional care. I am a new patient, who could not be more impressed with this practice. They invested time to listen to my concerns and tackled the dental issue I was experiencing. My first visit was for X-Rays and a full consultation. The following week, I was scheduled as an emergency, on a very busy day, and treated with the utmost care. The entire team is exceptional, and the practice is state of the art. I have had many dental issues throughout the years and Advanced Dentistry far exceeds my high expectations.
