I used Metuchen Mower in the past with a riding lawnmower that I have and they did great services then so now I have a problem with my snow blower so I called after hours on a Saturday to leave a message being that they were closed, Mr Gary called me back within a half hour to take the time to listen and reassured me that they have pick up and delivery so that I can get my snow blower working. This company is A-1 in my book!

This Saturday we had a snow storm. I took out my snow thrower and the belt broke. I googled places near me that would have a belt for my snow thrower and came up with Metuchen mower they sell and service Toro snow throwers in fact I have a Toro snow thrower . Thought this would be perfect so I get there and I see a man in the back he comes out I tell him what I need he said he needed a model number .I get it I tell him my model number he said that it wasn't . He really wanted the serial number. I didn't have it . The place sells Toro snow throwers I asked him if he could just go in the back and take a quick peek to see if he could come up with the correct belt and he says no he needs the model number. I said please can you look to see if you have one that matches? He said no I need a model number. I asked him again can you just please go back there to see if you have one similar to this again he says no I need a model number. This guy was one of the laziest people that I've ever met that worked at this store. The fact is he wouldn't even bother looking for me I was the only one in the store there was no one else in the store. That guy just turned away business from a person willing to spend whatever it took for a belt at that store. I will never recommend anybody to this Store .
By the way I have over 25 years in the business I know what it takes and I know he could have helped but he chose not to.

Metuchen Mower takes pride in trying to get the correct part for your machine. You need to provide the exact part number for the belt or the model number and serial number for your exact machine. We can not just guess at that the "belt might fit". The mechanic has over 20 years of experience. If the mechanic says he needs a model number, then we need the model number. Any reputable dealer would ask you the same question...What is the model number and serial number?With the model number and serial number, we can provide the part number of every piece that holds the machine together. You should have brought in the owners manual.I am sorry you had a poor experience in our store Mr. Phil Silverstein.
