        We got a great sign for our old (1785) house in the Berkshires. The quality of the hand painted sign was more than what we expected from the wood, to the instructions, to the period font style, to the shape of the cedar board itself. Working with Tim was efficient and effective in getting what we wanted. We couldn't be more pleased with the sign's beauty.

        I wanted to present my granddaughter, who had passed her exams to become a licensed clinical social worker, with a shingle (sign) she coulkd display if she ever opened her own practice. The finished product from Hand Painted Wood Signs exceeded my expectations. While all the specs for the shingle were handled via emails and phone calls, the end product was exactly what I envisioned. Great craftsmanship and artistry.

        Tim and his shop were great to work with. He did a hand painted sign with an image of a willow - all of it turned out beautifully. Zero complaints. Tim was helpful during the design process and gave careful updates once it shipped. Would recommend or work again with Tim for sure.

      Thank you Joe. Honored to have my historic house signs adorn a house in old town Alexandria, please spread the word. And thank you for the voluntary Google review. This hand painted cedar oval sign replaced an aluminum cast sign if I'm not mistaken. People don't realize that the paint finish of the aluminum cast signs begins to flake off in a couple years and has no protective clear coat on it either.

      You were a pleasure to work with and gave us freedom to turn your concept artwork into a reality. One of the most memorable and unique signs we made this year. For reference, we created a double-sided cedar oval hanging sign, with custom artwork of a willow tree and an arrangement of stones which symbolized family and hand painted / lettered text.
