    Long time service company we have been with them for general maintenance. But recently had our 100 year old boiler oil system converted to gas . These guys are top mechanics so great to communicate with , they explain everything how it all works . All the guys are super courteous. The job was super clean I was expecting bigger mess . Job came out flawless . Girls in the office also on top of everything kept in touch with me to let me know day by day schedule with the guys . I tell everyone you get what you pay for . And it shows Thanks to all the crew Doug spectacular mechanic / Jim / dale Steve for doing the walk through and job quote excellent guy to work with . Look no further call me text me for more info

    Called Harriets after doing business with them for years when our heater went out. Harrietts wouldnt service us immediately because we didnt have a service plan. We were without heat and hot water and they refused to come for days because we didnt have the all important money grab service plan. The scheduler was rude and combative to boot. We also had an issue where they sent a young tech and he screwed up our system so they had to send a more experienced tech. They then tried to charge us for their mistake. Bad company all around. Do not use. We certainly will not be relying on them going forward.

    My oil-fed water heater began shutting off randomly. I thought I could fix it myself but was unable to. It seemed to work but I didnt fully fasten a line and created a small oil leak. In addition I also needed more heating oil so I called Harriets. I called and left 3 VMs yet no one called me back (later the supervisor said they called and left me a VM, but they didnt - we all have caller ID on our phonesthey never called). After a week of no call backs I got my tank filled by another company. Harriets did answer my call for maintenance services and sent a tech out. He charged me 220 dollars to fix the leakby simply tightening a nut. He said he was done and I mentioned the leak was not the issue, it keeps turning off. He stated he couldnt fix it since it was running at the time. It stopped working again a couple days later. Harriets sent another tech out. He installed a new part and poorly situated my electrodes. He was confident this would fix the issue, it didnt. It was clear he was rushing. This was the moment Harriets realized I used another companys oil, but not until Bob the tech continued to accuse me of pouring diesel fuel into my own tank. I explained the oil was from another company, yet he didnt believe me. This was an additional 80 dollars. Water heater still stopped runningthey sent a third tech out and he said they couldnt fix it if it was working at the time they were at my house (I had to keep pushing the reset button so we could have hot water). After spending 300 dollars the water heater was STILL not working. I called to get a fourth visit, at which time some emotional woman informed me I was banned and they would no longer come to work on my water heater because I kept tampering w it and the fact I didnt use their oildespite me attempting to from the very beginning. Went to their office to clear things up but the woman would not come to the front of the office to discuss the situation w me. They continued to say I they would no longer work on my water heater. This all could have been resolved right then and there if they had any customer service skills. Finally spoke to a supervisor who had a brain. I told her all of this is on them. They didnt call me back for oil and i was now 300 in the negative with a non functioning water heater. The supervisor informed me they would be at my house in 2 days at 10Am. I waited and waited and finally at 1:30 PM I called and they informed me they would be out at 4 PM. Then at 4:30 they called to inform they would not be coming out this day and they wouldnt be able to for another couple dayswhile my kids cant take hot showers cause the water heater was not working properly. Finally the fourth tech came out, who was a sub contractor. He fixed Bobs bad job with the electrodes and installed a new censor. This was the only tech to turn the machine off and on numerous times to ensure it would work long term. No one else did this. The last bill was just over 100 dollars. Finally my water heater works after 4 techs came out, I was belittled on the phone, Bob accused me of being a liar, they wouldnt physically see me at the office, and I eventually paid over 400 dollars for a 15 dollar sensor. At no point did Harriets do anything correctly except the supervisor admitting to the fact they really botched the relationship w me, the customer. What a terrible experience right? I love how they shamed me for working on my own equipment BEFORE I ever got a tech out to my house. I have already informed numerous people on my road and thankfully they agreed to stop using Harriets. I suggest anyone reading this utilize another company.

    I would like to begin by saying Harrietts energy is my new go to company for plumbing, HVAC, etc.. Our neighborhood got installed to received natural gas utilities. I needed to install a new gas tankless water heater. Unlike many South Jersey companies, Harrietts was responsive, fair, friendly and knowledgeable. I spoke to a friendly receptionist (Patti) who booked my initial appointment. On the date of the schedule appointment, Jim came and assessed my project and answered any questions. He was patient, professional and friendly. I had requested several other plumbing companies to give me an estimate but not all of them went well. Once I received my estimate from Harrietts, I was very relieved and felt it was a reasonable and fair price for the job (Finally, a Jersey based company that understands that price gouging is not morally correct and that money doesnt fall out of a tree). I am very happy and satisfied with the install of my tankless water heater. Jim did a great job and Ill be using Harrietts for future events.
