I used to go to school here. I miss Ms. Jennifer so much! I loved going to school here but when I moved to another town I couldn't continue classes. The third picture is a picture of me when I was 5 or 6. I swear! I miss those memories so much! I am now in 7th grade and moving across the country. I hope I never forget the memories I made at Montessori! They taught me so much that when I took second grade somewhere else I already knew everything.Catherine Chen

My son, who has been enrolled at Matawan Montessori for 6 months, has just been enrolled in a new daycare. After 6 months of dropping off and picking up our son with no communication about behavioral issues I was pulled aside by the director and told my son was not welcome back for the start of the new year. As you can imagine, I was confused and bewildered. We have been assuming everything is fine as we haven’t heard a single issue about our son communicated to us. The director told me that there have been incidents over the course of two months that have happened. I am not blind to our son’s active and stubborn personality but I was shocked and angered that there was NO communication to me or my husband over those months and the day we hear about it is the day we are told he isn’t welcome. That is concerning and frankly inappropriate. I have loved the education and kind parents here and felt our son was getting a high quality education but I would prefer to have him in a school with open communication and collaboration between child/school/parents. If you are looking for open communication then this may not be the school for you. It certainly wasn’t for us.

We are really happy that we started our son with Matawan Montessori ( now he is at 1st grade in different school).  We could see a big transformation in him and was doing great at reading, writing,math and other extra curricular activities.The staffs were so soft and welcoming and always made sure that my son was comfortable at the school.We would like to thank Mr.Chris, Ms. Angela, Ms. Stephanie,Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Grace, Ms.Mary and others.We would definitely recommend this school to anyone.

It was a pleasure to send our son to Matawan Montessori.  It started out rough with our son being aggressive, and behaved badly we were called in often.  During the second year we got praises, and saw his development grow.  The staff is awesome and we have another child that did not have the benefit of our son, and believe me my son just graduated kindergarten from Matawan Montessori, and is in catholic school now he well behaved and very knowledgeable he was reading at 5 years old and improved now 6 he is reading small books.  I recommend them to all parents it is worth it.  If we ever had another child that child will start at Matawan Montessori.  Thank You Mr. Chris, and Angela, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Grace we love you guys!
