Been here several times, hygienist and dentist are nice and do a good job, unfortunately long wait time. I sat on the chair for half an hour after my cleaning just to get up and not see the dentist. Not the first time for my long wait. Wont be coming back.

Very busy office, but poorly run. Almost everyone that I met was very friendly (front desk staff and the dental hygienist). One of the techs in the back seemed annoyed when I asked if I even have to see the dentist after sitting in the chair for over an hour (more on that in a moment). I called to make an appointment as a new patient for me and my son. I was directed to a call center that was not in the physical location of the office. No one had gotten back to me about my son's appointment and my appointment was scheduled for 1.5 weeks later. I told them I would need a cleaning and they told me on the phone that I would need to meet with the doctor before a cleaning could be scheduled, which I found out at the appt was untrue. I was also told that if no one called me 24-48 hours prior to my appt, I should reach out to them or my appt would be cancelled - this just doesn't make sense. Nevertheless, I got a call to confirm and the person asked if I was available to come in 30 minutes earlier. I showed up a bit before 12, which was my appt time, checked in and filled out all the paperwork. I was taken back pretty quickly and had x-rays done. And then I met the dental hygienist, who was very nice but way overbooked for deep cleanings. She asked the front desk personnel to get information about coverage from my insurance company. 15 minutes later this still was not available and she made it seem like this is a normal occurrence at this office (disorganization). I then was told the front desk would get me the information and we would schedule based on financing because she did not have time to do it the same day. I was then told to wait for the dentist. I recall looking at my phone and it was now 1:20-something - almost 1.5 hours from my appt time and all that was done was xrays and the dentist was nowhere in sight. At that point, I walked out into the hallway and saw no one. A few moments later, a tech walked by and I asked if it was necessary for me to even see the dentist given that I'm sitting here waiting and need to reschedule for the cleaning anyway. She was annoyed and instead of apologizing for the wait, responds, "well, if you want to know if you have cavities." I responded that since I don't know what my financial coverage is at the moment and I have to come back anyway, nothing is being done today... She cut me off, "no, it's not being done today." I reiterated that no, it's not happening today, which she was not listening to me. She repeated the same words. For her, it was the dentist doesn't have time for you. For me, it was I will not be doing it even if the dentist DID have time. I continued...so is there a point in me waiting for over an hour (I recalled the review where someone waited hours for the dentist). She said, "sorry, we're behind." She could not give me an estimated amount of time for me to meet the dentist, and so I said I was going to leave. She walked me to the front desk. Front desk person told me that she would not be getting back to me same day with my insurance information, or even the next day. I would hear from her Monday via email with a financial breakdown. Monday... I never heard from her btw. I called because I had made an appointment with another amazing dentist and wanted my xrays sent over, which I appreciate that that was done without difficulty. Read my reviews for a better dentist. I do not recommend Aberdeen Family Dental. I found out they have been around a long time and are one of the first to come up under the insurance application, and so they get a lot of business, clearly more than they can handle. No one has time to wait hours to see the dentist especially when the intention wasn't even to do any work and it definitely doesn't take days to find out what my insurance covers and provide me with financial information as evidenced by the other amazing office I went to.

Ive been seeing Dr. Patel for a few months now (Ive needed some extra work done), and found her to be just wonderful. I have mild anxiety at the dentist and she is able to make me feel very relaxed and confident that nothing that she does will hurt. Ive been with this office for about 9 years now. All of the employees at the office have been easy to work with and professional and friendly.
