Had an alarming experience there today where I was frustrated and humiliated beyond measure at this office. I was told by Dr guzman that I should find another Dr because his secretary told him that I had issues with his office when such was not the case. I think the good Dr should get on with the practice of not gossiping with his nurses about patients while they are within earshot and deal solely with the medical care of his patients. He needs to be in his own office, and not be situated amongst his nurses Such a level of unprofessionalism was demonstrated today at my appointment when all I tried to do was sort out the confusion between his billing office and my medical insurer from New york as to why a participating practioner would be paid as a non participant. His receptionist was not able to connect me to the billing dept as my insurer wanted to speak directly to them. I was told they were in only on Mondays and Wednesdays and today was Wednesday and they weren't even in!. I have to admit that I'm still devastated and reeling from this negative onslaught from a doctor who is supposed to know better. I know every one has bad days but my goodness, this office needs improvement. I also tried to get my yearly annual done 2day but was told that they wouldn't accommodate this for my last visit of the yr as it seems that my medications cannot be refilled at any pharmacy as it's mandatory to come in for a visit every 3 months. I'm being forced to come in when I'm not even sick. They told me this mandate is from the insurance company and the insurance company is saying otherwise. Let's see if this office cancels my existing prescriptions ....I will update accordingly.
