Hostess and wait staff very helpful and welcoming. Food delicious and prices reasonable. We were greeted immediately, checked in for our reservation by the hostess and because we were early went to the bar for a drink. The hostess found us to point out there was an open seat at the bar where we could sit. Waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, food options and clear about any delays at the bar or sushi station. (Everything arrived sooner than he expected). The sushi was delicious! The Chilean sea bass also delicious. My husband had the burger which was a combination of meats and was flavorful and filling. Dessert was another temptation and since all desserts are made on site we could not resist. It was worth it. Coconut cream pie and peanut butter pie. We had 3 drinks with our meal and all things considered we were expecting the bill to be more. If there is any down side Id say it was how busy the restaurant was and it was still hopping when we left. If youre looking for an intimate meal I would not go here. It was full and tables are a-little close. We were part of our neighbors conversation(not by choice). However, for the number of people it was not super noisy. Will I go back? Yes. Did I enjoy everything we ordered? Yes Do I feel I received value for what I paid? Yes.

This was my first time hearing of Tomatoes. We went on a Saturday night with my girlfriend's family. Our reservations were at 7:00 and we arrived a little early to have a drink at the bar. It was busy (which to me is a good sign) so I'd definitely recommend reservations. It was also a classier restaurant so I would also recommend to dress on the nicer side. I started with a gin dirty martini and she had an espresso martini. The dirty was very good. The espresso was above average, but we've had better and worse. I wasn't really a fan of the martini glasses, but that's nothing to be dissatisfied over. We were seated at a large round table in the middle of the dining floor. There were 7 of us and the seats were spaced out pretty far so we had lots of room at the table. Brittany, our server, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, made great suggestions, knowledgeable, and checked in frequently but was not overbearing. The bread was served with whole cloves of roasted garlic in oil! Garlic is my favorite so this made me very happy. We split some appetizers to start - Grilled Baby Spanish Octopus, Ceviche, Burrata. I think the Octopus was phenomenal and the star of the entire meal. Was perfectly grilled, crispy, tender, and the texture was great. The ceviche was fresh and citrusy. I didn't have any of the burrata but all of the food went and everyone had positive things to say about each dish. For dinner we decided to pick a bunch of specialty rolls of sushi to split between everyone. My girlfriend's mom got the flounder special they had that night and loved it. The sushi was all fresh and the presentation looked great. I wasn't able to get a picture before it was picked through. I also had a Pomegranate martini. I enjoyed it and would recommend it if you like sweeter drinks. If not, I would pick something else. My girlfriend had an Aperol Spritz and really liked it. We finished up with some coffee and desserts. Each of the couples split a dessert. My girlfriend's cousin and her fiancé along with me and my girlfriend each split chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream. The cookies were warm and soft, and the ice cream was served in a cookie bowl. My girlfriend's parents split carrot cake. The slice was large and the cake looked delicious.Very enjoyable experience to say the least. Service was great. Sushi was very good as was all of the food. If I do visit again (which is only an IF because I live an hour away - not because I didn't approve) I would definitely order the octopus again. I would order a dinner instead of sushi just to try something else on the menu. Something I was not expecting: as it got later it went from a classy dinner restaurant to almost like a nightclub with a DJ that drew a younger crowd and dancing. We were finishing up with dessert at this time so it didn't bother me but I wouldn't have felt the same if I was still eating dinner.
