    I have been trying to give Mike every opportunity to come out and correct the work (for years) but never shows up, gives me an excuse right when he suppose to be onsite to correct the issue. I mean how do you call yourself a water proofer when the job was done incorrectly to begin with? The water backs up and then floods my sunroom. The water cant go anywhere so what does he do rather then resolve this? Keeps telling me he's gonna show up, but when he is supposed to I'll call and text and then I'll get a response back oh I cant do that today personally, oh sorry we got behind on another job, or my trucks in the shop, or my moms in the hospital, my moms being moved to another hospital, or better yet doesn't answer calls or texts at all. Your life isn't my business, I paid you to do a job that you claim has a 2-Owner warranty and you tell me you put me on the schedule over but then don't show up, after I've give you so many chances. Also I looked up his contractors license, its expired and he never renewed it. His last chance was to show up today, (as he said he would) he ignored my calls and texts. So now I'll be filing a complaint with the NJ consumer Affairs office. Do not do business With Him.

    I was having a water issues in my basement and I called Mike at Guru waterproofing. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. I wish I can give 10 stars but 5 is the max. People call Mike you will not be disappointed. The worked very hard and clean like they were not even there Thanks for everything Mike

    NO STARS We really do not want to do this review and we gave the owner Mike every chance to do the right thing. Upon hiring GURU Waterproofing for basement mold and waterproofing the owner Mike was not exactly professional but since he came recommended we let it go as he postponed the job 3 times telling us that he wanted his best crew and himself to be here. That was the first lie Mike was not here at all. Mid day the arguing began when his foreman Wilson told us that one wall needed to be done that was not included. Our quote was for 4 walls in one room when we texted Mike regarding this he admitted that he measured and did not include that wall but on the estimate he wrote 4 walls. After a little back and forth he agreed to do that wall too. When the job was done the foreman Wilson approached us and walked the perimeter of the basement and told us that we were going to have problems because they did not do the closet which was part of one wall. We had pointed that out when Mike came initially as it was wet clearly needing to be done. 2 days later we came down to a flooded basement as the sump pump that Mike told us we would never have to even be looked at it the cover was literally floating. We texted Mike and 3 hours later he responded and said he would TRY to get his foreman to come back here. Wilson came and was clearly annoyed that he had to. He had to change a pipe as the pipe used was too small and he redirected the water. A few days later after many delays Mike sent another crew to do the closet wall and clean up the mold We then had our contractor begin repairing walls. Later that day the pump stopped working. Once again Mike after us messaging him for hours sent Wilson back who walked in borrowed a screw driver and said your good. He left telling us to watch it. An hour later once again the pump stopped completely. No response for hours we literally had to hand manipulate the pump to go on. Finally Mike responded and said after a bit of back forth that he couldn't get anyone tonight we need to wait until the morning. He could not understand why we were being so demanding. We told him we were calling an emergency plumber to replace the pump. We found the exact pump at Lowes and had to have it installed. Mike agreed to pay us back. Then the games began again. He said he would come and give us the monies by the end of the week which he did not and then it was Friday and then it was Saturday once his funds were released. Then he said he would Zelle on Saturday Well today is Saturday and once again no response. We are taking him to court Monday and to boot I just found out his license is expired!!

    If I could give zero stars I would First off the owner comes in and is professional sweet talker and I went with him believing he'd fix issue this is now 2 years later and he hasn't .What APPEARED TO BE GREAT JOB by his staff turned into nightmare. (BECAUSE MIKE DOES ZERO WORK AND ISNT EVEN PRESENT TO GUIDE THEM) his staff is bunch of hard working friendly guys but did a incomplete job basically because Mike didn't inform them about an entire wall they didn't drill during the installation of my French drain!!!..so the flooding has continued pics will follow plus a pvc pipe is cracked outside that he pointed out to his worker 6 months later but the worker told Mike I just want trouble ?? So mike actually yelled at him in front of me stating the leak is right there!!.can you believe this???Mike will write back some non sense on this page please dont believe a word that comes out of his mouth.I'm under warranty and he doesnt call or text back for months at time.and good luck if you can reach him and if you read on some of the other sites I'm not the only one he ghosts after he receives his money or hell say hes coming and is a no call no show maybe 25 times now have texts to back this up also...save your self some heartache and stress and find another company nearby or ask around before you get sucked in by someone who can't keep a promise o cannot keep to a warranty !..all 3 photos are this man's work 1 showing the water coming from underneath the drain sheet and the other 2 coming from the wall he never pointed out to his workers whom I believe over this unprofessional owner!...Like I said if I could zero stars or negative stars I would....feel bad for his workers who were hard working !!!!UPDATE ITS ONE WEEK LATER AND ONCE AGAIN owner MIKE promised he'd come by and correct the issue and once again no one came. he even stated he'd send someone but no one showed!!!!...ive called 25 plus times and have texted him numerous time today with as usual no response and our basement is once again leaking with this huge storm!!!...what can be done??? I truly hope no one has to go through what we have so far with this compulsive liar of a owner!!!...Funny I was even willing to drop this comment if this guy would just fix the issue its as desperate as its become here. If anyone can help please reach out to us...many thanks just a FYI I am the owner of the house and once again almost a year later my issue has still not been repaired and this so called agreement Mike the owner stated after this comment he breached just like all the other promises he's made I will now search out another company to repair my issues and if anyone here knows anybody would be greatly appreciated.Mike you should be ashamed of yourself just hours again before your suppose to come and you cancel last minute once again. And if anyone needs confirmation on my report don't hesitate to reach out to me.
