REMAX Achievers

I normally do not write negative reviews (and you can see that in all my google reviews), but I just had to point out that Jessica Sevell and ReMAX Achievers were very unprofessional and unethical in a recent real estate transaction. An offer was submitted for a house in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. it was the highest offer, according to Jessica. However, another offer was accepted because that offer came with inspection waiver. To match this accepted offer, the original offer was adjusted to also include inspection waiver (end result- highest offer with inspection waiver). For unknown reasons, this offer was never given a proper consideration. A request for a signature from the Seller acknowledging that she knowingly and willingly rejected the highest offer was ignored. Many follow-up calls, texts, and emails have been made by the Buyer's real estate agent to Jessica herself and to her manager at ReMAX Achievers, but no proper response was ever provided. Lack of transparency, inconsideration for potential buyers, and unethical behaviors are observed throughout the transaction. I cannot recommend this agent/company for a buyer or a seller.

I met with Valerie Williams from this office. She offered an apartment for $2,700 a month. After going through the application process, paying the application fee, and being approved she modified the offer to $2,800 a month. After calling her out on her original offer, she changed it back to the original offer of $2,700 a month, which we accepted. She then told us she was preparing the lease. Three days later we asked for a status update and she tells us the apartment was rented to someone else. This is highly unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful of people's time and money. I would not use this office again.
