We engaged Galaxy to regrade our backyard due to some water issues we had in our basement. We found a foundation crack that we believed was caused by a combination of improper grading and an old paver patio. Valdemar came out provided a competitive quote that included tear out of old paver patio and disposal, regrading, natural retaining wall, and exterior repair of our foundation cracks in both the front of our house and the back. Valdemar and his team where always at our house at 8am every day, which I feel is rare by most contractors today being on time. Super nice team, checked with us every step of the way to ensure what he was doing was exactly what we envisioned. I could not recommend him more from a cost and quality perspective. Wow what an experience. I recently had a large 2 story wood house converted to stucco and concrete windows. I also had beautiful stone work done on 2 front walls and a side wall and deck. What a big difference I have a new home now .Even with all the material issues due to Covid and my demands lol My husband and I got our wishes fulfilled. Waldek and his team was so ,so easy to work with and everyone was respective of my Covid rules and our property. They were happy and sometimes a very funny group to have around while always working hard, even in the scorching heat. I miss their respectfulness and laughter. Galaxy Improvements went above any standards I put upon them. They even fixed a underground basement walk in area water wall issue others wanted to rip out and charge a fortune. Hurricane Ida had no impact in this area like in the past. Now it is water prof and stucco to match the house. I also used them 5yrs ago to stone our outside fireplaces and stone the foundation of the house. I am great full to their professionalism ,suggestions when I was unsure and never getting frustrated or short with me with all my texts, emails and phone calls no matter what time.
