Ill start by saying that Im a huge fan of therapy in general. I have been blessed with three amazing therapists in my life and have never really had any bad experiences Im over40 years of combined therapy. Dr. Fahim broke the mold. She unapologetically showed up half an hour to forty five minut late for our firs two sessions. In the first session she refused to even let me explain my answers to her questions. Instead she seemed to question like a prosecuting attorney telling me yes or no I dont need that information. The session if I wanted to pay her for a second session we could continue for another 30. She had already taken up much of my session with her lateness and her computer issues. In our next session she again called in 45 min late and when I tried to call her back she started complaining that I didnt immediately pick up. I told her I really didnt appreciate the way she was acting as a therapist. She simply told me to go see another therapist and hung up. Listen there all the other reviews above. Avoid her.

Felt extremely uncomfortable in her office. Waited 40 minutes in the waiting room. She didn't listen to me, rejected my input, started diagnosing me with other mental health issues and was extremely rude and critical, in the first hour I knew her. I couldn't imagine opening up further about my personal information to her.

Awful, disrespectful, rude and unprofessional! My 14 daughter who left school early today for her scheduled visit was left sitting over an hour while the front desk person mistreated both she and my wife. Doctor Fahim, you should be ashamed of yourself, patients of yours for 3 years. You saw other patients and never did see my daughter who relies on you for her medical needs! My wife called me in tears and could barley catch her breath at the way she was treated by you and your staff. Never have we ever experienced anything like this before. We are shocked and appalled and you should be embarrassed!

Awful experience! Started with her at age 16. She doped me up on as many drugs as possible, and picked a fight with my mother every visit. Harassing her constantly. I spent a few months with her in a ditzy stupor. I was only 16. Every-time I went back to tell her about my symptoms, she wouldnt pay any attention to me or my problems. She would just yell at my mother, and then prescribe more drugs. At one point I was taking 8 meds at once. Almost 4 years later, Im on 3 medications and doing well. I switched to a nurse practitioner who weened me off all the unnecessary meds and got me the medications I needed. I wouldnt send anyone to see Dr. Fahim. She will just dope you up until you cant see straight or remember anything. I especially want to steer parents away. She will not hesitate to over medicate children.

This review is for Dr. Alam, who I opted to see over Dr. Fahim due to Dr. Fahim's negative reviews across various platforms. I was hoping for a more positive experience with Dr. Alam, but am extremely disappointed to say that Dr. Alam is the worst medical professional I've ever come into contact with. The red flags began upon my arrival. red Flag #1: I arrived a half-hour early (as I was instructed) to fill out new patient paperwork. I completed the paperwork. The questionnaire was not thorough at all, which was extremely alarming given the fact that these doctors treat people with mental health/behavioral issues. I completed the questionnaires with 15 minutes left to spare before my scheduled appointment time. Red flag #2: Dr. Alam blatantly opted to see a patient who had an appointment after mine because he knew as a new patient, my appointment would take longer and he was behind. Normally this wouldn't have bothered me, but Dr. Alam was already running behind due to his inability to manage his own time or over-booking. By the time I was seen, it was 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and I had been in the office for an hour and 10 minutes. Red Flag #3: I've been seen consistently (a minimum of once-a-month) by a mental health professional for the past three years. I am at a very stable place with my medications and therapy, and made that clear countless times throughout the appointment. Every question Dr. Alam posed was asked with a tone of condescension. He spoke over me CONSTANTLY, never letting me finish my thought or sentence. When asking why I was hospitalized at one point, while I was providing background on the situation, he told me to get to the point. I have never been told my a medical professional, especially a mental health professional, to "get to the point" when discussing something so intimate and delicate as mental health issues. I was flabbergasted by this. Finally, when I told him the medications I was on (which I am comfortable with and have been stable on for over a year-and-a-half), he wanted to reinvent the wheel and try different medications/doses. He insisted on seeing me again before prescribing me medication, even though I told him I was almost out of my current medications (clearly trying to grab another co-pay from me). I couldn't wait to get out of his office & left knowing I would never return to this office again. Do not schedule an appointment here unless you want your time wasted, to be spoken down to, and to be disrespected.
