Great facility, great staff. Can't speak highly enough about the teachers and the experience they're providing for our daughter.

We absolutely love the Goddard school of Livingston. Our 8 month old started last month in the infant 1 room and is adjusting so well! We came from another daycare and are so so happy with the switch. The infant 1 classroom teachers communicate well and are so caring with our daughter ! We absolutely love Ms. Bethany, Ms. Nancy, Ms.Amy and Ms. Leah! Would highly recommend if you want a daycare that has teachers who truly care about your little one and has a great curriculum.

The Goddard School of Livingston is a superb school. The teachers and staff are wonderful and really go the extra mile for our son. The school demonstrates through its actions a real care and love for the children and our son has benefited tremendously from going to Goddard. The school strives for excellence through its curriculum and through fostering a real sense of caring and community amongst the staff, teachers and children. I have no hesitation is giving them the very highest recommendation!

Weve toured every school in the area and none compared to The Goddard in Livingston. Youll notice right away the meticulous attention to detail, especially when it comes to safety and cleanliness. Tori (Director) and Nicole (owner) are both warm, understanding, responsive and highly organized. The teachers in the infant room could not be more loving towards our son and it puts us at ease knowing hes receiving such great care. Fantastic place.

As a first time mom, we had always planned to have a nanny until our son started school. My husband and I are fortunate enough to both work from home, which would allow us to spend more time with our son during lunch and coffee breaks. However, after our son turned 1 it was clear that our nanny, while amazing, was unable to provide him with the engagement and activities that he wanted and needed. So how do you even start to look for a daycare? We spoke to friends and neighbors and after touring 4 different schools we decided on Goddard Livingston. A LOT of factors went into our decision, but below are a few factors that was most important to us. - The owner: Nicole is a mother of 4, has a great educational background and is the owner or another Goddard School branch in West Orange. This prior experience of running a successful daycare to a location where a lot of our neighbors had sent their children and gave great reviews for was paramount in our decision. I could trust that Nicole had the experience to run a great school operationally but also have the experience to navigate any situation that may arise when it came to the children and teachers. - The Director: one piece of advice that we got was to look at the Director of the school rather than the teacher. Teachers come and go and change as your child moves through the classrooms. But the director is the day to day leader of the School. We loved Tori when we went in for our tour. She has worked in this field for a long time and loved the way she answered questions/concerns and engaged with the prospective parents. - Prospective parent tour: All the other daycares allowed us to book a private tour. Goddard only has 1 group tour once a week. We felt that this showed how the school prioritized their focus on the day to day as opposed to new business. - The facility: This was a completely new build from the ground up. I felt that this would be a safe and clean environment for our son. Their cleaning requirements was also great in a post Covid world. - Snacks and Lunches: Goddard is the only daycare that will heat up lunches which was so important for me. During a time where children are just starting to build a relationship with food, having a cold meal when its supposed to be hot makes a big difference. This also allows me to offer a wider range of food options - Im sure we all know the pain of thinking of yummy daycare appropriate lunch options!! Goddard also offers a much healthier selection of snacks than the other schools, some dont offer snacks at all. - The teachers and staff: We love our room 6 teachers Ms. Gabby and Marielis!! Lets be honest, you have to have so much patience and love to work with littles, and Ms Gabby and Ms Marielis always always interacts with our son so warmly and with a smile. But this is not just limited to our teachers. Within a week or so the whole staff knew my sons name, so every time we see another teacher or staff member they will always greet us by name. It really makes my son feel special, well at least it makes me feel like my son is special . Beyond this, everyone is very receptive to feedback and concerns and communicates very well through multiple channels (email, phone, app) We are coming up on 1 year in June and we are so so happy with your decision to send our son to the Goddard School Livingston. Our son is challenged and put in situations, whether socially or academically, that he wouldnt at home all in a safe and warm environment. His development has been incredible and he loves going so much that he sometimes asks to go to daycare on a weekend!
