Atlantic Health Urgent Care at Ledgewood

Overall my visit accomplished it's purpose. My fears were alleviated. I received instructions to help my recovery.

First off I am from out of town in NJ working and I am sick so I go to the urgent care in Ledgewood NJ and the hostess was very nice getting me checked in. Once in the back I was asked if I wanted to be tested for Covid strep and flu. I thought they would know to test me for all because I dont know what I have. I only got tested for strep that was it. The doc (Danielle) came in and asked me what was going on today so I told her that I have been coughing and congestive for 2 days and now when I cough it burns my chest and I can taste infection in my mouth and everything Im coughing up is green and super thick. She said that I was negative for strep and that I just need to take Morton and the Tylenol sinus medicine that it will pass. I said that my son tested positive for strep over the weekend and that he got some antibiotics and that after just 24 hours he was feeling better. I asked if she thought I needed antibiotics and she said Im cant just give you those. Im the doc and Im not giving you anything you dont need. Now I just said I have an infection cause I can taste it and I know Im not a doc but I needed help cause I am worse the next day and she was in and out of my room in no more than 2 min tops. I think she did not care and just got my co pay and did nothing to help me. It not like I was asking for dope or something and thats the way I felt like I was treated and it is very nasty and I will not be going back there nor do I recommend any one else to that needs medical help. No stars for this place. Unfortunately to post I have to put a star.
